You can (except for Germany I think, that stopped accepting the tickets issued from international tariff book few years ago), but this will get you the base price, without any possible discounts, so is usually way more expensive than ticket

Not needed, at least in most Europe. Operators share data and you can get timetable information from any of them for all trains, including combined itinearies, and the expectation is you get information from your local train company.

Depends on where you live, in Europe if you get the generic branded (not "the" Weck brand) ones they are $2 for small and $3-4 for bigger ones.

Dex is very good if you have some other auth in place, but the local user store is quite bare-bones, and not all providers are equally good. On the other hand it is very light on resources, so if you need it anywhere you can add it to you a

It's usability feature, not security. For cameras/floppy-like usage it's to prevent accidental write/erase errors, which are quite common in managing a large stash of cards.

This is quite common in Europe. There is normally no special relationship with the original dealer and the service history is centralised for most manufacturers.

Before ebooks came abundant the publishers said some 10% of book price is their money, another 10-15% is for author and editors, and the rest is eaten up by print and distribution+shop. I guess the distribution through publishers' site
