The whole idea that there are "sides" to be had is IMHO extremely sad in the first place. This whole bipartisan system bullshit is causing so much damage, and its been going on since at least the 70s.

The whataboutism never fails to show up. It's entirely possible to attempt to address one issue and having missed, not looked into or plain having been wrong about another one.

The point was most people don't justify put $1000 on a separate camera when they already have one that does maybe 80% of the job in their pocket at all times. I agree, it's really fun though. Never had great gear, but I used to ju

We (French speakers) call macaroni macaroni though. Although there is also the term "coudes", meaning "elbows".

The tiny keyboard combined with my oversized hands made it really hard for me to justify as a note taking tool haha. But yeah, I definitely can see them being used for this purpose. Especially since the laptops of that era weren't part

Being constrained to a single keyboard layout all your life sounds awfully limiting. I literally swap between completely different keyboards often (ortholinear/standard staggered/split layouts/etc). It takes some getting used

Really? I know pip does it by default if you don't use virtual envs, but that's related to how pip works - activating the venv basically swaps pip/python executables and `site-packages` to the ones in the venv directory. I ad

I heavily disagree with the very premise that OS package managers are solving the same problems as language-specific, development targeted dependency management solutions.

The point is MSRP used to be a relatively safe assumption of selling price (AFAIK it also has been for quite a while), and now it's way lower than what we actually end up paying.

Now that every single damn service out there is costing me a cup of coffee every month, I end up paying a couple of coffee jugs a month. Are we seriously going to shame customers for trying to cut some costs in this economic context? As a c

Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time justifying the 3-4x increase in cost for Padloc vs. Bitwarden. The pricing is only rivaled by 1Password, which makes it a hard sell to me...
