I think it's an unfair comparison to ActiveX, but it's similar enough I suppose. NaCL is a much more heavily sandboxed environment, and is at least cross platform.

Just a note about font choice on this page. I spent half of the article quite unsure the name was SureAI or SureAl. I really think it's important to distinguish L from I in font, specifically in a case like this where it could have gon

As an aside, did the font on this page bother anyone else? The lowercase "w" in particular just kept confusing me into thinking it was a word in italics and my mind kept stressing it. I looked it up, and the font-family is "U

You know, I'm starting to feel that there is no pleasing everyone. When a company decides to do a design without consulting a committee, people get all upset that they broke the standardization process. But when a feature does go throu

Have you read the article? It's not about them killing the headphone jack, as much as it is about them killing it with a proprietary connector. Something as ubiquitous as a headphone jack should be standardized in an open way.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to review the article yet, but hasn't PressureNet[1] been crowdsourcing weather data for years now? I know I've been silently contributing ever since the Galaxy Nexus was the new phone on the blo

They specifically address this in the text of the review several times. It's more like a snapshot of the current state of Android for people who haven't been using it.

Weird, I wonder why this was commented out? Was it something the author preferred to leave out and didn't do it properly? Or was it just an editorial mistake?

It's because the money isn't given to the politicians or their campaigns. The money is spent hiring the lobbyists, and their teams to dedicate manpower to finding convincing arguments which can then be presented to the politicians

I don't think it's so much the fact that people haven't seen a cow being milked, so much as it's about the fact that drinking human milk is something we're not used to considering. It's always been a very perso

This is one of those scenarios where I'm sure both sides quickly realized they were wrong, but instead of doing the right thing and apologizing, they instead doubled down and tried to make the evidence fit their incorrect theory.
