You missed my point entirely. I never compared past atrocities as it is unfair to the current generation. What I compare is the current state of affairs. Germany today is giving shelter and free healthcare to refugees but apparently not CEO

Definitely true. Germany made a huge mistake not integrating 1st and 2nd generation Turks better and the 3rd generation is now feeling especially lost as Turkey isn't home and Germany doesn't feel like home either.

Germany doesn't have many black people because Germany didn't import them as slaves and never really colonized Africa. This whole statistic is worthless without context. Like how Germany's first immigrants after WW2 were low

It wasn't incorrect, you misunderstood. npm just uses silly defaults on Linux while using saner defaults on Windows and mac os. I am a Linux user and having to configure npm to use another path for global packages that I use in literal

On Windows npm is using %AppData%\npm by default (which is wrong btw, it should use %LocalAppData%\npm as %AppData% is meant for configuration files). This means I don't require any elevation to install packages for my user without add

Especially since any npm package can execute any code at install time in npm's default configuration. On Linux this is extra juicy since you cannot globally install any package without root unless you explicitly changed the directory&#

Even if it's valid behavior, it's still a breaking change. The function never set this error code before, now it does, and at least 3 large projects are not working anymore.

France and Germany wanted both to head the European Central Bank and the European Commission, with both favoring the ECB. France got the ECB position in the end, most likely as part of a deal.

That's what many people are getting mad about. Germany wanted to order from Biontech in July 2020 but the EU convinced them to let the EU order for a better "collective bargaining position". But this isn't the time to ba

The US does currently not allow COVID-19 vaccine exports. Pfizer's plants are only manufacturing for the US while the EU plants are producing for the EU, Isreal, Canada, UK, etc.

Apparently only 39% of Americans can afford a $1,000 emergency expense. I'm sure that hiring a lawyer to read over an employment contract does not even fall under "emergency expense" for the vast majority of people, thus maki

Aren't Samsung's QLED TV remotes Bluetooth only? Cutting the antenna would then also disable the remote and a modern TV without a remote is pretty useless.

This fear mongering is absurd. You won't get fined millions just because you didn't delete something by mistake. You will get fined however if you do this repeatedly and deliberately.
