I imagine you could probably get feedback on chat transcripts especially if they're doing lots of A/B testing with models. But more importantly (to me) is storing 5 years worth of other company's IP. That just seems wildly ri

I'm mostly replying because I was truly using it for an ImageMagick incantation yesterday. I use the API rather than chat, if that's an option for you. I put $20 into it every few months and it mostly does what I need. I'm

I had one of these and used it a lot in 8th and 9th grade. Then in the fall of 10th grade, I woke up one morning with the left side of my body numb and ended up having 6 grand mal seizures in the afternoon. The doctors never figured out wh

This is great, thanks. I've been going down a real rabbit hole on Thelemic magic and this really brings it back, full circle, to something I actually do understand.

I started to think the same thing when it got down to the for-loop example. Is Python 2-d because it uses indentation for blocks?

As a software engineer, I'm offended. I thought our only two options for answers were "what are you trying to do?" and "why do you want to do that?"

I've been using AnythingLLM for a couple months now and really like it. You can organize different "Workspaces" which are models + specific prompts and it supports Ollama along with the major LLM providers. I have it running

This is mostly how I see it too. I've wondered recently if it was possible to plot that curve and use it to show which companies are still on the quality portion of the arc and which are on the downturn.

It could have to do with how they're prepped. Even the real thing can taste like sawdust and grill marks if done incorrectly. I'm personally biased towards veggie burgers and prefer them over the real thing but in the last year,

I don't agree entirely. They are different types of problems but I think they all can benefit from people who are good at solving technical problems. Going to Mars isn't a problem or a solution to a current problem. It's ju

Maybe I misunderstand your comment as if we've run out of ambitious things besides those that border on science fiction. In that case, I think the market is those of us who think there are more tangible ambitious things right in front

Regardless of etymology, I believe the use of “reflexive” means something different in the article than “reflective.” The Shopify CEO isn’t describing insightful use of AI in coding. He is describing automatic, unthinking use of AI. At le

The Feedback Assistant issue you mentioned is probably one of the worst aspects of their software ecosystem. I haven't had a response on a single ticket that I've filed in there. It feels like an abandoned program, which is terr

I've always wanted to check out these cookbooks but they are beyond my price threshold for cookbooks. For baking fans though, they did a great little podcast series to promote their Bread book a while back. https://heritag

Wow. Thanks. It’s amazing that games like these exist for years on Steam and never surface when I search for new games with those tags.

Thanks for noting this. They sold at least one more license because of it. I've been a casual user for the last couple years so they've earned it in my book.

I'm guessing they mean the monitoring latency while recording. For me, that's one of the most vital parts of a recording environment. If I hit the key or the drum and hear it come through the headphones 50ms later, it's com

I think that was supposed to be some kind of small black hole passing through the solar system or something more exotic. Maybe I'm misremembering. Great book though and still haunts me sometimes when staring up at the night sky:)

I wouldn't recommend either. I bought into the ecosystem around 10 years ago because I had just gotten my first real job and wanted to treat myself to some nice stuff. I got the Play:5 and then the sound bar and subwoofer soon after.

I didn't know that about how IQ tests are formed. Would that mean that there could be some sliver of the population that could score in the top %'s on the 1000 question test but due to the selection of questions, scored average on

What tool do you use for the source separation? Everything I've used so far is great for learning or transcribing to MIDI but the separated tracks always have a strange phasing sound to them. Are you doing something to clean that up
