Incorrect (currently). They allow you to delete after you deactivate, but they make you wait 14 days while deactivated in the hope you realize you need facebook.

Nice! Glad more of us got tickets than we thought. It seemed like almost no one did originally. Still a broken system, methinks.

More like ten seconds. Clicked purchase as soon as refresh loaded the buy option, and still didn't get one. Ridiculous. They should kick out anyone who hasn't made an app before. Been trying to go to this damn thing for 2 years now and have

I liked the car-purchasing power throughout the article to give meaning to the values. I would suggest the freemium model though.

For iOS apps there's something called "custom url schemes," which is basically a string that every app is self-assigned (if at all) that can be used to open up the app from within another app (or check the app's existence).

Why shouldn't I work for the NSA? That's a tough one. But I'll take a shot. Say I'm workin' at the NSA and somebody puts a code on my desk, somethin' no one else can break. Maybe I take a shot at it and maybe I break it and I'm real happy w

Nice. You should change the naming convention to match with the iPad default nib naming convention (~ipad nib names will auto load on iPads). What I do is: iPhone 3.5 = nibName~iphone3_5 iPhone 4 inch = nibName~iphone4 iPad = nibName~ipad T

That's fine. If they lower their price quickly back to $.99 Apple can ban them (and has stated they will ban developers engaging in blatant price manipulations). If they don't, no one will buy it, and if some poor schmuck does he will get a

This is part of the reason why I decided not to apply for law school despite scoring well on the LSAT (176). I couldn't commit to working 80 hours a week at a big law firm to pay off 250K of debt unless I was sure I loved the work.
