Surely the reason is that neither Apple Maps nor Google Maps is willing to add the code to interface with the special Flemish Traffic Signal API. The market is too small, and there’s no profit to be made. Unlike the “you could take an Uber”

My point would be: the second map belongs in the article because it is informative. The first one does not.

The difference _for you_ is in the public or private nature. It seems like your argument is based on (1) the discussion being slander (assumption); and (2) the idea that you could refute it if it were public (good luck, low credibility, als

The idea that deer need to be protected is hilarious. All around the Midwest (USA) you can see obvious signs of deer overpopulation. Every doe gives birth to twins. The understory in the forest is bare. This guy is selling 60 deer decoys a

The only point I really have an issue with is #2, where the focus seems to be on “weeding out” students as a sign of rigor. I would much prefer that some kind of pedagogical motivation replace this point. Edit: I take that back. > Once y

While I am not a fan of privacy-invading work, the ship sailed with Facebook/Meta a long time ago. At least this is a little company, and the work they are doing is being directly sold to others. I’m confident Meta (and other large AdT

Really enjoyed the write up. I have to point out that the surprise risk of the $300 bill from Wasabi dwarfs the cost of the 8TB extra disk. In retrospect, I would have paid the money for the lowered risk, but everybody has a different toler
