Technical comments: I don’t think Unix style should mix multiple purposes into one executable. I would keep save, restore, and list functions as separate executables. I hope it was fun. In case you were wondering, this is at least four deca

In case you've never done it, let your house get into low 40's (F) and it takes days to warm up. The air gets warm fast, but your bed and the floor take a long time to warm up.

I'm allergic to the idea that these "individualized issues" cannot be resolved by some well-written queries on the sales database. Of course it is in Amazon's best interest that the court not think like a programmer.

A link to the court case (not the news article) seems like a valid starting place when asking for background and a summary of the case.

Without death, there is no life. Climbers know they risk death in pursuit of their accomplishments. I am positive it is one of the ways they challenge themselves. These aren’t kids you are talking about. As the article says, this climber’s

This dismissal of a massive drop in hiring (literally 1.5% of the previous half year’s reported hiring) is wishful thinking. “Ignore this data point, NYC is special.” Color me skeptical.

By "needs" I take it that you mean "is programmed in such a way to require" and not that the permissions are required to do the job you are asking of it?

Spell out your argument more. Find some hard evidence. Even “major player” needs to be backed up. Do you even know how many users Mullvad has in CN? I don’t. Searching says the whole company apparently has ~500k users. I don’t think that’s

Isn’t the linear algebra conventional wisdom that matrix ops are ALWAYS the bottleneck? I’m sure this is true in scientific computing. In R maybe a bunch of resampling would be expected to dominate?
