In the case of the PS3 I believe its mainly a case of effort VS reward. The older firmwares are completely broken, the chances of Sony making a mistake that big a second time are low. I think developers in the console scene would rather do

If they repossessed the car or he chose not to buy the car after the lease was up they would have left the immobilizer in the car for the next person to lease it, or removed it and installed it in a different car. I bet if we had a copy of

I found it especially ironic that the only shirts they showed that were even tangentially related to STEM were all from companies that exclusively made girls clothing.
