When I say market here I mean something people pay for, where producers can convince people to spend money. I’m quite sure there is not a lot of people paying for porn. The money people are making surely comes from ads and data hoarding.

I’m not making a value judgement here. Just looking at it from the point of view of a business.

Bitcoin existing is not going to make Itch.io not want to accept payments via Visa. Porn is a tiny market. It’s not worth it losing the payment processors everyone is on to serve porn game buyers.

I’m a panicked position maybe you should not fire a gun. If you cannot even chamber a round who’s to say you can hit what you want to hit?

Copy&paste between apps should work just fine using this window manager. I have not tried mwm but use my own 100 line C window manager and I can copy and paste without issue. Wayland will take 20 more years before it can dethrone X11. A

LLMs also don’t always generate code that works. And you don’t always know or understand what the product owner wants you to build. Writing code faster is very rarely what you need.

Not really. The overlap between people bothering to answer ”stupid question, RTFM” and people able to give useful answers is extremely small. The meaningful data the LLMs are trained on is the actual answers.

I would not say that is ”how the AI is used”. That problem space is one where humans have spent unusually much time defining a spec and writing a test suite. A million monkeys randomly typing could actually complete that task as well.

That time dilation feels a bit like what METR reported: https://metr.org/blog/2025-07-10-early-2025-ai-experienced-o... Developers believe they complete tasks 25% faster with AI but when measured they are 19% slower wh

By ”a better Make”, do you mean Mise does phony target task-like recipes better? Or is it better than Make at actually making things, tracking file and recipe dependencies, detecting what needs to be rebuilt etc?
