It doesn't lower barriers to entry, it's contrary to logical expectations for someone unfamiliar with how BQ works. If the query is limited to 10 results you wouldn't expect it to scan all 2 trillion of your records. Granted

In my case it would have been an issue regardless of what the queue/pubsub tech was (talking on-prem, not GCP Pubsub or AWS, which would just chug along effortlessly, not care, and take our money), since the entire consumer stack was

What's low volume? At one point I used rmq to ingest ~20,000 messages per second of varying length. From Tweets to blog posts, all containing the full content of the activity with metadata. It was with 3 node cluster.. wish I remembere

Yep, I'm using a Pixel 2 with both DroidCamX and DroidCam OBS (with OBS' virtual camera), I can second that claim. I occasionally use a Nexus 6 on another setup, but it's a bit bulkier to mount and is a bit finicky with Droid
