I disagree that anything is better. They're incrementally keeping up with technology. In fact, from my perspective, it feels like they hold us all back by leveraging their hold on offices.

I've only built front ends in QtCreator and Visual Studio WPF, but after getting over the initial QT way of doing things, I find it delightful. It's C++, though. So it's definitely weird in that uniquely weird C++ way.

I think it's a side effect of the eternal September. There was a time in my life when I had to convince people that email was important. Now, it's old news and even the slowest adopters have seen the light provided by the internet
