More to this question, are there any limits on what you can put in orbit? e.g. could I put a satellite in orbit that broadcasts an SSTV signal that's goatse, or a handgun? For the sake of the question, assume I can launch/reside i

I look forward to a future where the web has separate <ad> <tracker>, and <drm> tags. Would standardize all this garbo and make blocking components much easier. Can anyone just write an RFC?

If I had to guess as to his reasoning, it's because Mech Turk is artificial AI. You wouldn't survey an AI and expect to get anything meaningful.

Anyone know of technology to invisibly watermark video/audio? This would be great for enforcing copyright on sites like youtube.

If potential disasters were actively getting stopped, they'd be documented. I think it's just that nobody has both the ability and desire to destroy the world at the same time. Do we even know if smallpox would kill a modern human

When can a char be 16 bits? I presume it'd still have a sizeof() of 1 though.

Is it better to pass the length of the array, or a pointer to the last valid address in the array? (or one past that) There's probably an advantage in the two types being the same. Thought of this as I was reading the article.

Nice. Don't know how I feel about whether or not the script loads determining if you have adblock. Does mean you can't change the filename.

> So if I use a standards-compliant browser, I won't be able to see a site that uses this. Yes, that is the point. It is designed specifically to exclude people not using an adblocker.

Do any adblockers block content before the page is reloaded? I thought it'd be necessary to do network filtering.

Hopefully my country handles this right. Since, we have DST in the winter, instead of the summer, our standard time is other countries' summer time (DST) and vice-versa. Right now, everything syncs up with Europe, but it mightn't

I don't know if linking to ublock origin specifically, is the right call. I just did it because I prefer it, and I had to link to something. (otherwise it kind of screws non-technical people) Hopefully ublock lasts longer than this scr
