No, it doesn't. Output is value, not input. When you look at a high-end photo that you like, one of perhaps hundreds that you see in a day, do you do a detailed background check on the input? Explore the "life experience" of

Not going to happen. Already advanced AI authors combine many tools. They may use their own image/photos as input (which is non-AI), combine with AI, compose objects/layers, fine-tune, inpaint, outpaint, text inversion and that&#x

I have very bad news: most people are "tasteless". In fact, an art judge, supposedly with taste, couldn't tell it was AI.

That's fully correct. The AI learned to draw based on work done by humans.

Most non-AI art also does not ever reach the level of mythology you speak of. There are scenarios where input may matter, such as in an art contest. Where the craft part is tested, not just output. In the vast majority of cases though where

Or this deeper meaning having no meaning or relevance. I once was in a modern art museum featuring an enormous room. In one corner were 3 beach chairs. That was the art. The curator encouraged me to think deeply about the piece, its meaning

Yes, you can debate the fairness angle. But an important angle is missed here. Apparently, this output, in whichever way it was constructed, was favored. Maybe it's just pretty, maybe it emotes, maybe it communicates something very wel

I agree with you. I think it's understandable that non-artists commonly associate art with what they interact with or see the most: illustration and decoration, stuff found at artstation, the like. Surely you have a point that this doe

Pretty much. But like almost everyone, you may spend 80% of your screen time in 1-3 apps whilst simultaneously having an additional 100 logins for lesser visited or even one-time usage interactions.

Healthcare is too complex to settle on, because some disruptive variables are at play, like changes in demographics and highly complicated taxation schemes. I'm from Europe (Netherlands) and healthcare costs has risen by double digits

Women on dating apps have ample choice and thus try to select for the top 10-20% of men on offer. Exactly the type of men that have plenty of choice themselves. It's a kind of a too good to be true deal. You should assume that the very

Comments made just 3 days ago, "well...it can't do that", are already obsolete. I've never seen innovation at this breakneck speed. We're talking a WEEK since release.

Correct, yet for a particular category of companies providing foundation utility-like services, there's a well established tradition of taking a liberal/neutral stance. Which above all is a pragmatic call.

I'm with you that they did the right thing by taking this neutral stance, the peculiar section you should see as "managing optics" and keeping hysterical activists off their backs.

You pose it like an all or nothing equation, which it isn't. The way I see it, if you'd consider the art world a pyramid, the bottom is about to fall out. A lot of commercial artwork serves no deeper meaning but pretty decoration.
