I'm curious about the choice of bmp for http://wdobbie.com/warandpeace/glyphs.bmp Why not a png ? Edit: So after a quick test: * glyphs.bmp 53.5 MB * glyphs.png 7.6 MB I guess it could be shrinked even more.

I suspect H1Z1 to run its server-side phisics simulation on GPUs. Definately not ASIC / FPGA, but still a co-processor ;)

If I recall correctly, the DK2 tops at 75Hz, wich is not so extreme.

I imagine that can be painful. I usually don't even bother doing that through Unity: just open a tty with crtl+alt+f6, install all the packages from there ;)

Or simply ubuntu with gnome-flashback. Has been my goto configuration since unity came out and it's pretty much the best of both worlds.
