I agree that you should get some psychiatric help (I can sympathize with your condition), but the 'battery draining while off' gives me pause. How bad was the battery drain, and was the device 'off' or 'sleeping&#x

Well, when I was learning c, Egyptian brackets apparently weren't even a thing. I have co-opted their use in certain places - I think it's a nice way to easily identify a lambda function, but I don't think I would ever use i

Interesting concept, but 'analysis is flawless' with '100% accuracy' on a sample size of 30-something? C'mon.

Just expounding... Take for example epicurious.com: super useful reference I've used for over a DECADE. I had no problems using it on my mobile/tablet devices, ever.. Until the mobile rewrite earlier this year. Rendered almost

Exactly. As far as I'm concerned, HN IS (!!!) mobile friendly. I'm so sick of the garbage mobile formatting that is ubiquitous these days. Give me a clean desktop version any day. Pinch to zoom FTW. 2009 was way easier to brow

Agreed. There is a time and a place for everything. If table markup is used nowhere else in a DOM, it is completely justified for easily vertically centering div content (across platforms) no matter what the container properties are.

I've been on and around many trains and yet I never quite understood the concept of the wheel flange and how track junctions worked until very recently, thanks to a kids show: chuggington.
