I’m not even convinced that Microsoft knows how to ship a Windows-themed version of Windows these days! ;-)

It would be super cool if these articles or websites actually explained anywhere what volumetric capture and radiance fields actually are!

Do we know what the reason is for the limits of around 10-20%?

I wonder how many times faster my iPhone 17 Pro Max is? Sometimes I like to remind myself we are living in the future. A future that seemed like SciFi when I was a kid in the 70s! Sadly I don’t think we will ever see Warp Drives, Time Trave

Some anecdotal knowledge I can share on why they used to say wait as long as you can for a hip replacement: We were told this was because it used to be that they could only do the hip replacement surgery once, and the replacement joint woul

I'd actually flip that and suggest that people stop trying to use Discord for things that aren't aligned with Discord's product UI/UX priorities! Discord is what it is, and my teenage kids love it. However I'm const

I’m suggesting you do both One Drive and Google! Also, to be clear, I’m saying to install One Drive and Google Photos on your iPhone. My approach to this is based around having the least amount of things to manage. In my scenario, I’m looki

One rather counter intuitive way to “backup” your photos is to install Google Photos and One Drive on your iPhone! Google and MS don’t charge as much as Apple for storage, and you probably need you need to pay beyond the free limits, but it

Seems like it could be a thing. Also, I’m curious and in case anyone that knows reads this comment: Apple say they can’t get the performance they want out of discreet GPUs. Fair enough. But yet nVidia becomes the most valuable company in th

For anyone thats been around for more than one hype cycle, this is not a surprise. Apple clearly takes a 'Measure Twice, Cut Once' approach. It seems to me that tech and business analysts mostly supply uninformed nonsense opinions

I am not at all an expert, I can only share my anecdotal unscientific observations! I'm running a TrueNAS box with 3x cheap shucked Seagate drives.* The TrueNAS box has 48GB RAM, is using ZFS and is sharing the drives as a Time Machine

Maybe it's just me, but if I was leading development of iOS, then a "Quality and Underlying Performance" focus would be the bedrock of anything that was modified or added to iOS. How is it not? :-/

Belated response as I called it a night over here in sunny Australia! The image scraping bots are training for generative AI, I'm assuming. As to why they literally scrape the same images hundreds of thousands of times? I have no idea!

Sadly, AI bots and crawlers have made CF the only affordable way to actually keep my sites up without incurring excessive image serving costs. Those TikTok AI crawlers were destroying some of my sites. Millions of images served to ByteSpide
