I think he means by its fundholders. If you own a share of VTSAX (for example), you also own a piece of Vanguard. If you own a share of a fidelity index fund, you do NOT own a piece of fidelity.

For the housing loans, the plan is to simply hold the bonds to maturity, I believe. Early (and other) repayments simply won't be reinvested.

This is correct. I don't eat enough bread (or bagels) to warrant buying entire loaves at a time, even, and they will grow mold before I can eat them. Freezing them works great for me and prevents mold.

We intend to only switch to LTS versions. 8 is LTS, as will be 11. We'll switch a little while after 11 comes out once we believe any release bugs are ironed out (7's release worried me).

The contrast between colors in some of the national maps is really bad...I can't associate the colors with the data, especially for the lime green one.

This a thousand times. Thunderbird would have been great if it calendared well with exchange. As it stands, the available support is garbage and barely works when it works at all.

I was treated both as a child and as an adult. After I quit my adult medication I was a wreck, and ended up going to therapy. It wasn't specifically to address ADHD, but just me in general. I took a break from work, began eating well

I don't know about corporate leases, but early termination fees on a lease AREN'T a given. Some states have next to no regulation on it, and landlords are free to write terms without one. The early termination fee there is simpl

If it's publicly tradable equity in a stable company it's worth SOMETHING, but only as much you as a hypothetical buy and hold investor would give it over the cliff period. It obviously also comes with some risk so I'd give

Not just the pressure requirements, but the blade stiffness too. While I was fencing it became almost overnight MUCH harder to flick. You needed a pre-stressed (near breaking) weapon or just huge amounts of force (prep). I was a sabreist bu

My experience is the opposite. The uninsured receive absurd bills because the hospital doesn't actually expect them to pay. The sell the debt to collections and get a big tax writeoff with little relation to reality.
