Also make root fs readonly. DietPi distro claims they do it out of box. Same for openwrt, they mount /var dir as tmps and do writes only there. For raspbian http://blog.pi3g.com/2014/04/make-raspbian-system-re

What I don't like on current state of server side rendering with hydration is that server still sends initial state data, even thought, it is already contained within initial html. This means, that site is rendered twice on first load.

Reading this, I'm thinking if it's possible (and if yes, how), to write java and javascript program in other encodings that they internally use, for example UCS-4. If yes, what is doing the conversation (parser, compiler?).

I remember people criticizing apple when introducing new air, that it's product line is mess. Now, after discontinuing 12" macbook (which overlaps with new air quite a lot), people cry about how they'll miss it. Steve Jobs, 1

I think the problem should be solved within the OS using sandboxing, like in iOS (or to some degree Android too) and macOS and Windows store applications. For example, when you uninstall an app, there are no leftovers in the system. You don

In world of hypervisors, containers, apparmors ..., is sandbox really a significant advantage over nodejs? Actually I saw yt presentation and it didn't convinced me to switch from nodejs. The differences to nodejs are so little, specia

Isn't Microsoft selling ads too? I believe they do (that's why bing was created). If so, I don't trust their ad blocking initiative any more then google's. Maybe in short term, as they want to steal users from Chrome, bu

I don't get the sentiment about JS. Where all the hate is coming from? Maybe it's just confusion. People hate SPAs, but talking about web. IMO web and SPA are two different things. Maybe overuse of JS on web sites is problem, but

This doesn't make sense to me. Making reCaptcha work worse in FF without telling user that if he/she used Chrome it would be better. Only few tech savvy people (hn readers), will eventually realize that. And it doesn't make t
