And here I was thinking you might have something of merit, but it turns out it's still the old 2007 arguments about === and array functions. I can see our definitions about what we spend our time on differ, as I could barely bring myse

This is just FUD. You didn't give us any real use cases to agree with or refute, only your opinions. Lots of people and companies do very productive, very real, very "typed" and very effective applications and code in PHP. I

I noticed your sarcasm there re: python being fast. Many of my company's tools have been moved from python to go for both speed and size reasons, as well as because it's much easier to distribute. Even python exec bundles can have

I'd like to see similar data for real estate, though I recognize that the data is much more proprietary and there's a much longer lead time for some events (like closings) but for things like showings, open houses, etc. it would b

You're getting downvoted but I wanted to let you know that I emphatically agree with you, but we might be the only two. Whenever a discussion of this comes up, it seems there are always some "just use xyz" patterns, and usual

She is a bouvier de flanders. She doesn't require much time or energy, though when we were choosing her there was a mix of bouviers and I'd say half of them were higher energy and half were lower.

This is _so_ wrong. My dog loves walks, but only for so many minutes before she wants to just lay down. We have 1/2 acre outside, accessible 24/7 to her via dog door but even then she barely goes outside except to do her business

If you print out the forms and fill them out by hand, the only cost is the the envelope & stamp to mail them in. What the US Federal Government/IRS doesn't have is a free way to e-file taxes online.

They're really not as bad as you've made it sound. I've been working with CF for 1.5 years, and I've done everything you've listed above (and more) with deep integrations into each other, and more. The most difficul

I rather like this feature from CitiBank. I hate the interface, but the feature is great. I can use it to sign up for monthly services that I'm unsure about. If I don't want to go through the hassle of canceling the service, I jus
