To people commenting before reading, this link is more interesting in its discussion of how the demo was implemented than the fact that it is 'only 99 lines'. Please check out the great write-up and thank you author(s).

You can use ng-bind instead of curly bracket interpolation. This will eliminate the flash of {{pageTitle}}.

The author builds arguments based on a couple of premises with which I disagree: 1. Live music and recorded music are just two representations of the same underlying piece of art. I would argue that each rendition of a song is its own piece

I'm a user of modulus and a big fan of their service. It has been much more consistent than other Node.js PaaS providers that I've tried. Downtime has been almost non-existent and the level of service has been consistently high. I

Whether or not you are a fan of disappearing/reappearing headers, this is clearly a well-thought-out bit of code that will be useful to someone. The docs also appear clear and concise. I like that it is not a jQuery plugin by default,

I think you'll find that VLOOKUP is not used that much by people deeply invested in the modelling field. It is dangerous in the same way as referring to cell addresses in macros. (This is where named ranges are particularly useful) As

I notice that a Lucene-powered index is now included. I can see from the git repo's wiki how to structure a query, but what seems to be missing is how to return, or sort using, relevance information. Can you chime in on how that works?

The beauty of Excel is its ability to do many things 'well enough' in a way that is accessible to a lot of people. My dad put together his architectural plans for a new house in Excel because it is a tool with which he felt comfor

A popular addon is the ACE toolkit. I'm sure that there are many more that may simply not be available for public consumption. I do financial modelling and our firm as developed its own formula auditing (and Excel Swiss Army knife) too

It seems conceptually crazy to me to buy a put option in such a system where I would be exposed to USD/BTC as well as having no recourse against an anonymous issuer (for 80% of the underlying price). How do the site's creators thi

You might ask why this is 'declarative' and that would be a good question. Here is why I consider this declarative: Your dependencies are declared in the markup by special data attributes added to script and link[rel=stylesheet] t

What if you could request a semver range for the checkout js file? That way vendors could opt in to fixes, enhancements or major changes and be confident in the level of volatility in UX for their customers.

Given how easy it is these days to re-implement jsFiddle, I agree that it is not surprising to see clones popping up all over the place. The fact that we have access to high-quality editor components with simple API's means that we can

The editors based on ACE[1] have a vim keybinding mode. For example, you can toggle the keybinding environment in Plunker's settings pane[2]. The reason that you may not see this more often is that implementors of ACE may simply not ex

As the author mentions, the real insight seems to be to switch from the file-based unit to the tree-based unit. This means asset building can be made more intelligent. Now, I wonder if the same approach can be taken in gulp using vinyl-fs?
