A sensible question. Firstly, from a philosophical perspective I am at no point exposing emails of subscribers to the blog owners. The communications they send to those subscribers are limited to what's published in the RSS feed (once

Good question! On my roadmap is a feature where you can have more control over what's sent. So for example whitelist or blacklist categories, set specific send times and for example doing a mailing once a week or day or month (user spe

Yes, I do! At present they're not exportable though. I think one part of the product that's nice in that way is that as a subscriber, you know you don't need to think about your email getting spammed - communicating with subs

Hi HN! I made Blogsend.io. It's a way for blog owners to handle emailing their readers automatically whenever they make a post. I built this because I actually needed it first, but decided to try it out as a product as well. Technicall

Not sure if this is the kind of story you're looking for but here goes... I immigrated for a change of life. I moved from Canada to Europe, and as a developer was able to find a job before I even landed here. My gf and I decided to tra

I ask because I'm working on a side project at the moment, and the idea is to automate follow-ups for outcome deliverables from meetings, help with general note taking and set a priority before the meeting to help keep things on track.

Hilarious. Makes me think of those papers I had to write in school with a length requirement and how much this would have been useful ;)

I think it's a nice idea, but I think I am unsure as to what exactly your product does. It seems you issue IBANs on-demand and manage the accounts behind them, so you're essentially an API-driven bank? And with events you allow pe

Read your original post. As far as I understand you are saying these two things: 1. Yandex search results very closely match DDG's in Ukrainian (or did) as opposed to Google/Bing 2. When Yandex could no longer operate in Ukraine,

There seems to be no direct link between DDG and Yandex besides these two links that lack any evidence. Yandex merely appears to be one of DDG's content sources.

I think a company or a maker does have the right to measure how many people are using their product. As long as they constrain their collection to that, I think it's reasonable. The payload (sent via query param) seems to include local

And here we return to the currency vs. store of value debate. In terms of currency, it goes back to utility. At the moment, Bitcoin (or almost any other crypto) has no or limited utility. By that I mean it is pretty well isolated from the r
