I always wondered how many of the translucent stones were actually worn down shards of beer bottles. I love this page. What the internet was made for. I sometimes wish they had closed down development after creating this page and the page w

Maybe a bit of learned helplessness, but what people tend to forget is that an all-in Russia is a formidable enemy. This is the moment it helps to have allies. Like an insurance. Even if you can manage without, it hurts less if you have the

While a fun exercise, I somehow feel that LLMs have demonstrated that we are past this step. They will realize that it is not correct to take the jar from the fridge without first opening the fridge etc.

I have never heard of this kind of insane behaviour before.

I loved reading it a little bit at the start, then I switched to reading a little bit in the middle and then continued from were I was at the start. YMMV.

We pressure our kids into grit, but genius comes from the inside. Be grateful when it happens, but be happy if it does not.

Sure. But what about the parents who struggle every day with normally gifted children? They deserve even more credit. This seems like an easy child :)

I am not sure I would call Hitler competent. I could call him ruthless and a gambler. That can take you a long way. Until it doesn't.

My mother lost her phone so I asked her to search for "find my iphone" on Google. The result started with 3 "sponsored links" which threw her down the rabbit hole. This used to be easy.
