You got it completely backwards: in Bitcoin the only thing that matters is the computing power of miners, not the number of nodes. That is precisely the problem that Satoshi Nakamoto intended to solve, preventing Sybil attacks [0]. In few w

Without any other information I must suppose you are talking about Bitcoin (BTC), which has limited scalability and therefore high transaction fees when there is high demand. Bitcoin Cash BCH has low fees, below $0.01 as I mentioned. You ca

Bitcoin Cash does currently scale up to Paypal's daily number of transactions while keeping transaction fees below $0.01. [0] Scalability tests are underway [1] to detect bottlenecks for increasing the block size further, which should

Great! That means people will invest in cryptocurrency projects with good fundamentals and that deliver value, instead of the pure speculation that we've suffered until now.

I discovered ART [0] from other comments here, and it looks like it explicitly supports Digikam/Darktable metadata sync through XMP files: > Better metadata handling (thanks to the exiv2 and exiftool libraries), with (optional) supp

OP here. This is my workflow, it doesn't have to fit everybody else. If you want a single software to do everything then you should give Darktable [0] a try, it can handle all steps in my proposed workflow including importing, browsing

I'm glad you found something useful from the article. I have discovered ART [0] from the comments here, it looks like a better RawTherapee and I want to try it out soon. [0] https://bitbucket.org/agriggio/art

I'm much more of a photographer than a videographer, but I have used Openshot [0] and KDEnlive [1] and they got the job done. [0] https://www.openshot.org/ [1] https://kdenlive.org/en/

OP here. I do use Hugin for panoramas, and it's fantastic. I was going to write a bonus section about it but I wanted to get the post out of the way as I had been working on it for too long already. I will add it in a future update.

I had seen some mentions to ART a while ago, it looks like it has come a long way. I see several features that I was missing from Darktable (automatic perspective correction, improved shadows-midtones-highlights handling, masks...), I defin
