Good post. A bit intimidating at first, but this paper has some real insight and is worth a read. What makes this paper so good is that the opinions are primarily data-driven, not intuition driven. Which leads to insights you can trust.

Seems that the liability for men to get married is much higher now in the event of a divorce. Also women are less dependant on men and more able to control when and if they have children. Everything else is irrelevant imo.

Regular taxis are in every facet worse than Ubers. So safety etc is just an excuse. In the end, this is about economics. Why send all this money to a US company, when you can keep it in the UK?
