Ironically there are a variety of typos in the article. A paragraph is repeated and the markdown links at the end are broken because there is a space between ] and (.

They didn't specify needing to read the file line-by-line. You could read the whole file at once. There might not even be any new line characters in the file. You invented a requirement.

Wait, creed is metal? I always thought of it more like Christian rock. A good tune, all the same. A 64mb CF card in an RCA Lyra for me. Drop the bitrate to ~64kbps and you can jam most of an album on there :D

My boss once bought a really expensive lock with a magnetic key. He was going on about how it was unpickable. When the key was forgotten one time, we found it could be opened by sticking scissors in and turning. I'm not sure what the m

I think they mean the clock involved with replacing the image every X ms + the clock in your python code. You could remove the python clock code in favour of being notified when the file changes. That's my tired understanding, anyway.

I just spent the day making an azure app and taking packet dumps so I can prove it is their fault. Traffic to one of our vendors goes into a black hole, but only from the US South East region.

I know it is a tempting idea, but forced treatment is an oxymoron. You can't force anybody to get healthy, unfortunately. As usual, prevention is worth a metric shit ton of treatment. Apart from that, all you can really do is reduce ha

Pigeons are really sensitive to infrasound. It causes them to take flight immediately. I built a device that created a ~1cm arc to scare away pigeons. You don't need to electrocute them, the sound alone does the job. I don't belie
