It’s honestly impressive how I seen daily predictions of infections in single countries exceeding the entire confirmed infected global population by 100x. It’s either the idea that this is a generally mild virus with some random severe case

Most cats I know stay indoors as well. Most of the cats I don't know stay outdoors. Walking 10 minutes down any quiet street usually results in me seeing at least a cat or two. Cats are very common if you're looking for them.

Concrete sidewalks are pretty fragile. Unless they're freshly laid, most that I see have cracks and pits to some extent (probably mostly attributable to cooling/heating and water). Some people also seriously drop their feet down h

I think most people agree that a country needs a well regulated, armed militia to protect itself from nasty invading forces. But arming amateurs and everybody around is about as safe as everybody rolling out their own encryption algorithm.

I'm halfway through reading this and, and so far, the main argument I'm seeing amounts to this: the use of visual art and attention to design is increasing. Making use of artistry in your products or caring about attractive design

I really have no clue why you're angry or what you're arguing. There are people who are 40 years old who are dying, and those people also have major health issues. I'm not trying to say old people and 5 year olds are equally

Thanks for the completely inaccurate personal attack. :) News articles regarding this have been very explicit about saying the victims have notable health problems and not simply age. e.g., A long history of lung problems, cancer, etc. Plen

That statistic still only takes into account known and confirmed infections. Most reported deaths are from people who have other major health issues. With reports of people being infected in nursing homes, there's a possibility that ev
