Or, he might have been raided because he was suspected of leaking the story to NYT.

President can authorize precision strikes and special ops if there’s imminent threat justification. I’m not arguing either way if this strike was justified, but there’s legal pathways for it. The congress rule is about declaring war.

WW2, William Knudsen, president of General Motors, was directly commissioned in as a 3 star general. He was in charge of War Production. Sometimes, deep industry expertise can’t wait for OCS. Granted, this was wartime.

You can absolutely get rid of ads on an iOS device. You just need to use YouTube in safari.

It's a screenless & buttonless phone. Slightly smaller form factor than regular iphone, with comparatively bigger battery and powerful processing for on-device models.

I'm seeing messages double post for some reason, both ones I send and ones from my coworkers. The 2nd message fails the first time. And the occasional connection error.

I’m actually comforted by the fact that NSA needed encryption turned off to spy.

This. There’s even a QR code you can scan so you don’t have to type on the mobile device.

That's a very good point. The system design of the airtags assumed a much shorter battery life, which may have led to decisions that would introduce issues at 10x battery life. Thinking more like overflow issues. But could also be a co

Tbh I love the simplicity of the hard coded saddle post + support. Both being made out of the same tube size.

Two things jumped out at me: the simple/non-adjustable saddle support, and the absolutely slammed bars affixed just above the fork. Was that normal for track bars at the time?

How would a 3.5mm dummy mic jack prevent software from just changing the input mic source to the built in one?

Still use my X230. I swapped its keyboard with an x220 one, which is the thing to do if you are into the older thinkpad KB feel.

I’d say it’s pretty much mainline “pain cave” zwift mythology.

Great tip! Would love to not have to maintain a headless script. Just set YouTube-dl to update on a cronjob.

No, to my memory they were phasing out the API except for case-by-case allowed usage. I think I opened a support ticket to justify continued access, with a description of my project, but they denied my use case. I can’t remember now if acce

Used to have a raspberry pi + small hdmi screen on a shelf, and it would randomly play these raw uploads 24/7, new video every 2 minutes. It was fun to encounter random home movies all day. Very hard to maintain due to use of YouTube-d

The bidet heats up the water instantly, there is no requirement for a hot water supply. Just connect it to the existing water supply the toilet uses. You do however need electricity. I had to run an extension cord for mine, which I tucked a

Also have used one for over 5 years and it’s awesome. It can also make the best steel cut oatmeal I’ve ever had. Just measure it with the white rice cup, porridge mode setting, and let it sit over night on timer mode, wake up to perfectly c
