The YouTube alternatives always lag and are bad, unfortunately. I don`t know why. The best way to watch YouTube videos is actually to download them with yt-dlp then watch with mpv later.

This reads like an AI-generated comment. What do you mean by "benchmarks suggest"? The benchmarks are very clear and presented right there in the page.

There is so much software you don't have to buy at all, it's all free. So much you can't even have a directory for them.

Google invents something and uses its huge market share and power to force everybody to use their thing, shaming and threatening those who don't. Amazing outcome.

The hardest thing to replace was always search to me, because the usually alternatives (DuckDuckGo, Ecosia etc) always suck. But Kagi made that part so easy it's unbelievable.

As I read I was thinking this article had been AI-generated. It's too empty, a lot of descriptions of the same images it had just shown, and then some commentary about how they are fake, then repeat and repeat again. Now I'm confu

I've been searching for something like https://go-app.dev/ for years and never knew it existed. I wonder what else I'm missing.

Is this a comment from 2002? It's been over 20 years that everybody _knows_ Google is "fantastic". The only new thing in the last 5 years is the absurd decline in quality of Google results.

Kagi has all the bangs possible and imaginable, and you can configure new bangs. But I barely use them, Kagi results by themselves are already great. And optional LLM summary of results (either by clicking or by ending the query with a &quo

Such a long article, no convincing examples. Why did he waste so long on the stupid restaurant case that clearly makes no sense? Natural keys are good as long as you think one minute before deciding to use them.
