Sure, but would daylight savings be the cause?

As much as I hate to say it, probably C. Actually, I wonder if there are any toy languages out there that are basically C without raw pointers? If so I would go with that.

I feel like that means they were teaching from the wrong perspective. All of my cs classes were about principles, and the language was incidental, and I don't feel that the things I learned have gone out of date at all. Edit: On a rela

Don't worry, they do. Hell, so do adults. Dark Souls pretty much redefined my standards for great single player games.

If including your race gives you a leg up, then I think you should do it. I saw a whole lot of casual racism when I was in college, and if that was indicative of the experience of others then you don't owe the rest of us shit.

Also, is 30 million really a hefty price tag? I know I shouldn't judge based on American intelligence spending, but 30 million is what it cost to build my counties vocational tech school.

I can't agree more. My ultimate financial goal is to have enough money to pay other people to do all the things I hate for me.

I have to. For me stimulants help me put my six hours of productivity to work. I have pretty severe ADHD.

As someone who has been on stimulants since they were thirteen, you still only have 6 hours of productive time. You just also have 6 hours of flailing about like a headless chicken. Sure it'll help you with mundane and routine tasks, b

As a former rural resident, I want to add that laws designed for cities often don't make any damn sense for rural areas. I basically always carry a small pocket knife, and a while back I got hit with a hundred dollar fine (and they too

You are missing OP's point. A shotgun is a far better home defense weapon than an AR-15. So is a handgun. The AR-15 was very carefully designed for intermediate range combat.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that interpreted vs compiled has far more to do with python's speed then abstraction in this case. Also the post you linked literally states that abstraction doesn't necessarily mean slow.

Implying that women are worse (upbringing related or not) at spatial and mathematical abstraction skills is taboo for the exact same reason that saying the same about black people is. Making these claims simply adds hurdles for an already

Lets not labor under the impression that Epic invested resources in fixing these issues purely out of the goodness of their hearts. The success or failure of the recent Sim City game was hardly EA's number one concern. Fortnite, howeve

I always go in with good intentions, but then the code is already written, and it works, and re writing it would be boring... Edit: Now that I think about it, it isn't the re-writing I mind so much, it is the prospect of re-debugging

I don't know if I can agree with you on this. In ~2016 I built a PC (i7, 24GB RAM, 1.5TB ssd, gtx 1080) and my 2014 17 inch mbp has slowly been closing the gap. This is probably more due to software optimizations than hardware, but thi

I agree with every point here except for clean syntax. You can make Ruby's syntax almost as nasty as you want to. I think syntax flexibility is simultaneously one of Ruby's best and worst features.
