> Correlation does not imply causation ... "Correlation does not imply causation" does not imply that correlations are meaningless or uninteresting. Certainly, you can use strong correlations to predict a likely future even if you don't

I tried it three times and won twice. Are my word choices too obscure for this simple-minded program? This is funny because I'm not a native English speaker, so my vocabulary is limited. (For the record, I won with "cryptology" and "xenopho

Turing completeness may not be that important in everyday programming, but it's at the heart of CS just like (to pick a lame example) conservation of energy is at the heart of physics. What still baffles me about Turing completeness is how

Note how you haven't used the keyword `this` inside the closure. What you've written is functionally equivalent to the technique I described, assigning the `this` object to a temporary variable. The only difference is that you bind it with

Is this maybe targeted more at novice programmers? A web IDE doesn't make that much sense if you already have local source control, there's an "Absolute Beginner's Guide to Programming" ( http://appjet.com/learn-to-program/lessons/intro ) l

nullptr vs NULL I'm not sure if the author knows this, but the fact that nullptr is even needed is a design flaw of C++. That is, int foo = NULL; is illegal C, but legal C++. So much for C++ being more typesafe!

I seriously wonder what's wrong with people.
