A real issue we have run into is that "computer use" features, which is absolutely a big no-no at our company, can be enabled with a single click, and we cannot configure that.

At least on Windows/Mac, a significant number of users of this app are non developers, and you should tame your expectations about them handling things like "isolation". Even for developers working on Linux, you'll be su

As you as your Go build fails because you haven't put the local cache dir in the "allowed directories", you'll understand how painful this is, as well as most tools based on bubblewrap/sandbox-exec. There is a diffe

I don't get how it works, or works well -- presumably those domains are behind CDNs, and IP addresses are unpredictable. So the firewall allows traffic to specific IPs that are resolved at the time the script is run, but not after that

In "Androids: The Team That Built the Android Operating System" by Chet Haase (a book you shouldn't waste time on), it is very clear that making Android open source (i.e. AOSP) was almost by accident. Google was pretty confid

I wish that before someone writes yet another article on "You don't need React" they can do a Google search to look up all the 1000 articles already written with the same arguments and the discussions around that.
