Is there anything stopping the renter from taking extra precautions? Like for example photocopy the tenants passport? I am finding it hard to believe that somebody would drop off the keys to his own apartment to a total stranger, regardless

Skype was reclassified by kids from "awesome software" to "proprietary crap" as soon as Microsoft bought it.

I link to the BMJ all the time through work, they have never complained. Also, the author is cherry picking the text he quoted. Here is the full text from the BMJ groups T&C: "You may link to articles or the home page of the BMJ or BMJ

A similar approach is being piloted in the UK on certain train lines - on demand media streaming called Volo ( http://www.volo.tv/ ). Its expensive, you have to pay for headphones and their content is mediocre. Train prices have consistentl

I would think it was part engineering as they probably did not have, and do not seem to have now, any sort of alarming system in place. (at least not at the coastal places I visited)

I find the comparison with SE Asia rather poor with regards to investment as I've been to Sri Lanka and the amount of money that is available for basic infrastructure, let alone anti-tsunami barricades, is negligible compared to Japan unfor

Back in the 90's, Nokia im my opinion has the best UI's by far compared to the competitors then. When Motorola phones did not even query the phone book to get the caller's name, Nokia was innovating with tabbed menus and whatnot. Its a sham

I also find the fact that the official email from PayPal is just signed "Julie" with no surname and just comes from a generic sink account, thus eliminating any chance of actually following up the problem with a human being rather annoying.

I use Perl every day in product/home and have contributed numerous modules on CPAN. The "Ratings" argument is very very thin. Yes, CPAN does have a ratings system ; nobody uses it. Even very very popular and well-written modules, for exampl

Wouldn't this be equivalent to somebody finding out Google's exact ranking weights from 2005 ? The recipe has changed/been tweaked alot & the true strength of Google is now in its worldwide brand rather than its ranking algorithm.

I would argue: it depends. I live and work in London ; the only places where I've seen recruiters or job ads specifically ask for a 'red brick' or 'top ten' university degrees is the financial domain. They specifically ask and check for a t
