No matter how severe a crisis, once the dust settles, gold will always be worth something, for reasons I don't understand. The reasons is simple: gold has specific physical characteristics which many people for a very long time have rega

Yes, I've been doing it since 1998, and that includes three major separate gigs including (1) a corporate job, (2) free-lance, and (3) a founder of our own firm. So that's 15 years and counting! Best wishes to you.

I've got the video playing in the background while I work, scanning for references. The first reference is to his own book, "Cancer as a Metabolic Disease", by Thomas Seyfried, John Wiley & Sons, 2012. Presumably he cites many other s

Sorry, I do know what you mean by "article" now, namely all that text below the video. :) All I'm focused on is the video itself, which I highly recommend watching.

I'm referring to the content of the video itself. I don't know what you mean by "article" really. When you watch the video, you will see Dr. Seyfried referring to many studies, primarily his own, but possibly others as well. (I'd have to

I believe Leo. If it actually happened though, I bet Leo would ask himself why if someone else made a million dollars off the material, why didn't he? In other words, what did the other guy do that Leo failed to do?

I downloaded his pi computer from http://bellard.org/pi/pi2700e9/tpi.html and I don't see the source code for the "tpi" program there. Is that source code available anywhere?

Beautiful exposition. Even in the late 1700s, many mathematicians rejected the use of mere negative numbers, viewing them as anomalies which indicated that one had phrased a problem wrong to begin with. On the other hand, Euler understo

I like what you're hinting at here. In my case, the "IDE" is vim running in a terminal window, with another terminal window to the right where I run git, grep, and tests. Nevertheless, even in this austere environment I could imagine a vi

Yes, I could have let it slide and simply written "Fixed bug in type_open propagation in parse.c". But I sort of wanted to "punish" myself a little and force myself to write out precisely what I had done wrong in painfully explicit terms.
