Grindr is far from the only gay-centric dating app that allows you to list your HIV status. Almost all the major apps allow this nowadays. Scruff, Growlr, Jackd, and even the site Sniffies allow this. As an LGBT+ identifying man, i don'

Based on my listening and no other knowledge, he probably had quite the influence on Oneohtrix Point Never aka OPN aka Daniel Lopatin. He’s always been a big synth head and his OST scores really showcase his talents.

Properly maintaining and deploying hundreds of Apple products (Macs, iPads, whatever) still requires knowledge, planning, and organizing and the utilization of a well setup MDM system. I worked a role like this within an IT department many

Where are you located? Out in eastern Colorado, we put in a deposit at the end of Jan. 2021, and didn't get to actually order a unit until December of 2021.

$12 a month? The cheapest Netflix plan is $10 for STANDARD definition. $15 for HD on two screens, and $20 a month for 4K resolution. I think bumping up past $15 has hurt them a lot too. $20 a month for a streaming service is outrageous.

I primarily use PlayStation for my console gaming, and this kind of thing will push me even further into the PC gaming space than I already am.

This article is kind of missing the point on why the iPad experience is missing that "Pro" feeling. Yes multitasking could be much improved, but having the iPad locked in to the iOS ecosystem with the AppStore and abstracted/

PC under the TV is the answer, at least I think so. I built an ITX HomeTheater/Gaming PC last year (without a GPU initially) and have started to slowly unsubscribe from all the streaming services. Being able to just grab whatever movie

Sometimes you go over budget. I decided that if I was stuck with a machine that wasn't going to have user replaceable components, I'd rather have a Macbook that I know will last longer than most PC based laptops. Pretty simple log

I recently was in the market for a laptop for personal use, and wanted to spend around $1200-1400 USD for a Windows based machine. All I wanted was a decently powerful CPU, higher resolution screen, and a thin and light body. I simply could

Absolutely not. I cannot listen to people talking about anything and focus on my programming tasks. Podcasts are great for driving or doing chores around the house/yard, but I'd rather listen to music while I write code.

I think at this point, if you're going to invest in a camera system, I would go mirrorless. Canon has announced they won't be developing any more EF lenses (For their DSLR based cameras). Mirrorless is the future, and between Sony

Ok, so the major difference from the current setup is that instead of you owning the phone, Apple will retain ownership. That is a pretty big difference. Especially if they start offering iPads that way too.

I can back this up, I've had a LG OLED CX for almost 2 years now, and have never seen an ad or junk stuff on it. I have done a couple firmware updates, but have taken away the TVs ability to connect to my home internet. My parent'

I would happily buy an EV once the designs start to resemble more of ICE cars. I really don't like the aesthetics of most of the EVs on the road today. If say Volvo made their current V60 wagon with an electric motor option, I would ju

Beamer ( https://beamer-app.com/ ) was my go to choice for this kind of setup. I built a small PC and just plugged it directly into the TV instead of trying to make the Apple TV work with a giant downloaded media library.

I agree wholeheartedly. I built my first ITX machine at the beginning of 2021, and the case choices were fairly dire. The Ghost S1 was sold out, and finding anything else with a decent aesthetic that didn't cost $200+ USD was near impo

I could see them trying to make a larger sensor, mirrorless style camera, a la the Fuji X-Series, but I think the price would end up being just as much if not more than an iPhone 13 Pro. I would be very curious to see what they do but I don
