Uh? Where did I write that? Why are you making up what I wrote? I guess your assumptions are in line with the OOP programming style... ;-) You can make a rat's nest of any coding paradigm, however I would argue it is easier to do it wi

No, I have seen tons of times when one developer on a single code base build a rats nest for themselves by just doing OOP. Sure the objects or classes where probably not perfectly designed or the choices of the correct objects/classes

The point is that OOP was introduced so people could continue coding with globals (i.e. states), where the globals now lives inside different namespaced containers instead the global container. The effect is still the same though, your code

Ah, I did not know that. I mostly use CoW when I do Qt stuff to get a clean API (but Qt gives you whole range of other annoyances). Qt data types works well together with std lambdas without the need of smart pointers. In what other languag

Git Extensions for Windows is pretty solid https://code.google.com/p/gitextensions/ For Linux, Git Cola is ok for commits and Git DAG is ok for browsing, but Git Extensions is better.

It's not hours that can be the case as in other countries, but I would not describe it as 2 minutes either. 25 minutes sounds reasonable. Of course it's depends how lucky you are. When I lived in Stockholm for a short while, I had
