There's other factors at play as well. If I had the coffee beans and milk, I may not necessarily be motivated to make myself a cup. I also probably wouldn't have an espresso machine or know how to make the coffee taste like I want

Maybe it was a result of the medication he mentioned? It wasn't exactly clear. edit: just checked again and nope, that was pre-doctor visit. Something that high would certainly cause me to worry.

I think part of the issue is that a lot of places outside of SF are places where people want to live and work (who also make lots of money). Lots of people want to live in Palo Alto, Oakland, Mountain View, etc so the prices don't real

Seriously, it was hard to feel much sympathy for the person earning $1.2M/yr when they could very easily retire if they just stopped somehow spending hundreds of thousands of dollars every year.

I'm not sure how to comfortably read a pdf without my laptop. I'm sure a tablet would be the best choice, but my laptop is fine for it.

This is interesting. If LED lights pulse so quickly that we don't notice the flashing, how are these people able to perceive it in a way that causes them pain?
