But you still don't have autonomous flying, even though the case is much simpler than driving: take off, ascend, cruise, land. It isn't easy to fix autonomous driving not because the problem isn't identified. Sometimes two co

Deck can run witcher 3 and mh:world decently (maybe some hiccup and lower graphic setting). There should be not a big problem to make games run on steam deck (ignoring controller support since it's a separate matter).

Do you know that Proton is developed as a countermeasure against Microsoft's possibility of vendor locking? It is already anticipated that little or more Microsoft will want that cut. We're at late stage capitalism, where enshitti

Well recently cursor got a heat for rising price and having opaque usage, while anthropic's claude reported to be worse due to optimization. IMO the current LLMs are not sustainable, and prices are expected to increase sooner or later.

well I presented the statement wrongly. What I mean is the use case for LLM are trivial things, it shouldn't be expensive to operate and the 1 dollar cost for your case is heavily subsidized, that price won't hold up long assuming

LLMs need significant optimization or we get significant improvement on computing power while keeping the energy cost the same. It's similar with smartphone, when at the start it's not feasible because of computing power, and now

you'd be surprised on how deranged some people are, no matter the sexes. Having a Prince Charming / Manic Pixie Dream Girl that always agree with you will be the utopia for them, and amplifying their mental issues. Soon they'

you don't trust it, ever. You verify it, as in you get PR from junior / new contributors. You also need to not trust any source on the internet before validating it, Wikipedia for example. Why you can trust wikipedia but not AI? T

agree on this point, like web3 and blockchain is not essential as of today (CMIIW). However not in the case of AI (agentic AI / LLM), because simply they already have a use case, and a valid one. Contextual query and document searching

IIRC people say that MCP is initially made for CLI / local tool execution for agent-based ai like cursor. And prople are skipping on service discovery. Making ai know what steps / operation is good.

Yeah one main thing I really hate about ai in general: they overhype and targeted to non technical person, and everyone involved in it want to sell the shovels in a gold rush. It's frustrating to find a good technical material. Or good

HTTP call may be blocked by firewalls even internally, and it's overkill to force stdio apps to expose http endpoints for this case only. As in, how MCP client can access `git` command without stdio? You can run a wrapper server for th

If you know JSON-RPC: it's a JSON-RPC wrapper exposed for AI use and discovery. If you know REST / http request: it's single endpoint-only, partitioned / routed by single "type" or "method" parameter,
