Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a go. srsRAN includes carrier frequency offset estimation and compensation, but it can't hurt to assume it's got a problem there.

In reality, they are all derived from the same 3GPP standard [1], the generations (3G, LTE, 4G, 5G, ...) just being labels applied to particular releases of the underlying standard. In git terms, the underlying 3GPP standard is the "m

In theory you can use a ($540) bladeRF in place of the ($2100) B200/210. It's got the same family 2x2 MIMO tx/rx chip in it as the B210. I say in theory, as I've been trying to get srsRAN to work with it, so far withou

It reminds me of the routing for an integrated circuit to do a Fast Fourier Transform. The butterfly operation on which an FFT is based involves a crossover, so the basic problem in routing a planar chip is how to make all those crossed ov

If you know the signal is periodic with known frequency/period, you can be clever and sample it at that that frequency +/- a small offset. The frequency spurs then will not fall on top of each other and you can "unwrap"

The most fiendish application of this effect that I've seen is polyphase filtering. I can't remember the details, but at the time I can remember the wonder of understanding (in a lecture by fred harris) how most the logic was run

The battery is absorbing or providing short bursts of energy, thus providing grid stability, rather than than providing significant net energy. This then allows the use of renewables which might have short term variations int their output.

(Most of) Australia's problem is that the government stuck its head in the sand for a decade and pretended that renewables weren't happening. Consequently minimal groundwork was done by preparing the grid with suitable transmissi
