I've tried with mixed results. Some OS projects have been super grateful for tiny things such as favicons and logo vectorisation, but in my experience most tend to acknowledge but not implement work sent on spec. After a quick search I

Ah the halcyon days of September last year when I made nearly $40. Still, it's free beer money, and a good enough way to distribute work to the public domain. It feels good as a designer who's not able to easily contribute to the

I put up a couple of hundred icons that I'd drawn previously up with a public domain license. Here are the download counts and royalties from the last 10 months for reference: http://i.imgur.com/clNZWUk.png

Love Logitech mice for all those reasons too. I'd recommend using the feature where you can assign a button that when clicked, googles selected text, I couldn't live without that now.

Exactly my use case too! Blender is unusable without. In case you'd not seen there's a cool iOS app which replicates Blender's keypad functions - great when you're on a Macbook or similar: https://itunes.apple

I hope they're not phasing out the numeric keypad versions! I love typing on those. Never understood why Apple didn't make a wireless version with a keypad either.

Buzzfeed, usvsth3m, The Metro and their ilk just recycle reddit submissions anyway, I think it makes sense for reddit to take a slice of that pie themselves.

Absolutely agree. I've had some work designing some really creative ad banners using just SMIL, self contained animated banners, all vector so responsive and hi dpi that you can throw anywhere in an img tag with some basic interactivit

A different perspective – Coda + Diet Coda have been fantastic for testing sites on iOS devices. Coda 2 and Transmit are two of my favourite & most used apps and I've had few issues. When I have, their support has been superb inclu

Sadly the XAML export plugin no longer works in Illustrator CS6, I've spoken to the dev, Mike Swanson and apparently it'd be a nightmare to upgrade. I keep a copy of CS5 installed just for this reason.

I love the new design and have been using the beta for ages - the only thing that irks is that it steals the spacebar key to play/pause rather than scroll page up/down. Also, a great bit of UX detail worth noting is that it prepends '▶' to
