Maybe it would be distasteful, but a trailer with an ICE engine that could charge the battery while driving. Might be a trick to make it so that the generator could supply more energy than is consumed per minute.

Not parent, but I do data analysis where more memory is always appreciated. Essentially all tooling now works with bigger than memory datasets, but you eat a performance cost as data gets paged in/out to disk. When you can load a 50GB

As a consumer does that matter? I understand server grade hardware wants the extra monitoring/diagnostic gizmos, but will the memory be corrected with the same efficiency as DDR4 ECC or is it an entirely neutered implementation?

I am more interested if the cloak and dagger yielded any actionable intelligence. The article notes that there was a successful launch weeks after the caper, but that seems far too quick for any kind of learnings to have been implemented. A

I currently work in pharma, and I can point to teams of SAS programmers. There are definitely R efforts, and I have no doubt it is the eventual future, but it is not yet here.

Same reason people use Excel and not LibreOffice. Until you can promise 100% compatibility, users are going to run into something that breaks vs the original platform. For real business processes, the licensing cost is not worth sweating ab

Are you from the future? R is making progress to replacing SAS in pharma, but has a long ways to go. Here is an article from last year[0] patting themselves on the back for making a R submission to the FDA. There are oodles of existing proc

Genuinely curious, what kind of Crazy Stuff do you need for a static site generator? It strikes me as one of those technologies I want to be as boring as possible. I never want to debug why my content is not being rendered.

Kind of cheating, if the "9 rules" have numerous bullet points. Rule eight has 18 non-specified bullet points. Rule nine, 27.

Do not forget the rate-limting. That one seemed like a misunderstanding of the business: to keep people sucked into the platform. Why would advertisers pay if their cows could only be milked for a few minutes of engagement per day?

Car dealerships are a huge revenue generating entity for state governments. It is possible doing away with dealerships would net out to similar incomes, but short term would most likely lead to a net negative for the balance sheet.
