A couple of friends just successfully launched a commercial game on android/ios/steam using love2d, and they're really happy with the results. I couldn't believe it was made with lua, it runs really smooth. http:/&

Saying "no" sometimes (genuinely, everyone has shit to do) is the best way to know for sure who really enjoys your company and who just keeps you near for the easy "yes" you always carry around.

I am running nginx reverse-proxying to a python API right now. Dealing with certificate renewal is a matter of running a daily cronjob issuing 'certbot renew'. If it works it replaces the fullchain.pem certificate, and that's

I use PyCharm and refactoring works pretty well there too. Also I really like having an IDE that runs and presents itself just the same on all big three platforms, since I'm always hopping between computers.

The article says the teenager had no pre-existent medical (cardiac) condition. Question is : Could it be an undiagnosed, latent condition? The kid was really young and it's not usual to have teenagers do heart check-ups etc.

Yeah I did. Console-based (tty) video feels snappy and devoid of lag, but X.org feels a bit sluggish, still. I've tried Windows XP etc on VBOX with the guest addition and it feels soo much snappier ;(

Nice, because right now altough I use a linux VM for dev work, I am still bummed by the latency and stuff. For tty based work it is there but any X.org workload is still laggy as fuck, which kinda bothers me a little while coding (I'm

Ah, nice, thanks for the explanation! I do remember CoLinux. This should provide way better latency than my VM tho, right?

Genuine question: Why not just virtualbox/vmware it up with an ISO ? That's how I've been doing for years and it works just fine.

This is something that bothers me on my current setup (Xubuntu on Virtualbox): LATENCY while using X. On the tty everything feels snappy but as soon as I use a graphic terminal, it feels choppy and typing feels sluggish. I'm not even u
