I sincerely enjoyed Terry A. Davis' videos on youtube. Yes, You need to actively remember that you are dealing with a person with severe and possibly badly treated/untreated mental illness, and I say this because of the random bou

The phenomena you mentioned (speaking in tongues) is called Glossolalia, and yeah, it is essentially rhythmic mouth yapping with enough resemblance to other 'human utterances' to be misread as an actual language.

exhaustively enumerated. i mean. a lot. you should dive into the Nethack source code. It's really well organized but in monster behavior code (mon.c), it's an 'if'-fest :)

Also don't forget "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", another controversial classic directed by Terry.

If you enjoy this, please try "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" from the same Director.

I don't think the article does a disservice to readers by not postulating any kind of way out or solution. I believe that there isn't a solid solution to be posted right now because first we need to get the majority of people to c

Timing couldn't be better with today's arrest of Julian Assange. Bravo.

Maybe it's medicine. It's being applied in an attempt to better the host's health condition :-) I believe we can all agree that the command line and the whole PowerShell thing in Windows is...funny.. to say the least.

I believe he's right. The whole system is game-ified to maximize time spent. You get nothing but small carefully timed dopamine hits that keep you hooked and your productivity/life balance goes out of the window.

If you guys enjoy generative music, you should try Sunvox. The author has created a js library which you can use to play .sunvox files in it, it is pretty nice too. http://www.warmplace.ru/soft/sunvox/jsplay/

True! Also, if you are not able to afford Max/MSP, you can do basically the same stuff (although with a clunkier UI) with Puredata, which is a live coding 'graphical language' setup just like Max . In fact it is (or was idk)
