Sure, but as long as the phone works productively, I'm able to send messages or browse the internet in a pinch, that's all I need. Fwiw, I still use my old Honor 8 and my wife her Redmi note 5 as a daily driver.

Not really, this will be swept under the rug by creating a new BS completely unrelated to the current issue at hand. And people will forget this in a week.

It is absolutely bonkers how well foobar works under Wine. I too have a large library and foobar just picks it up immediately.

True but without comparable offerings like CUDA, it's not really looking bright tbh. Open CL and open vino are years behind virtually speaking with respect to support.

Not really, they are trying to sidegrades or downgrades. For eg, Regalia first -> millenia; which is a flat out downgrade!

I was struggling because of terrible eyesight, and the ergonomics. I used to have an IPS monitor that used to fatigue my eyes a ton. I also have a cheapo Cherry MX Blues (TVS gold) and a Logitech G402 mouse. Ergonomics and eye sore was kill

The biggest thing that I have an issue with in Writer is basically the performance. Drop in an image or two, that particular page becomes slow as molasses. This is yet to be fixed and it causes massive headache, when you're just trying

Had a same issue with their Studio line a few years back. It was a ship of Thesus situation. Each and every part was more or less replaced. I have a Thinkpad T450s and there's been no issue in the past 5 years of owning it.

Very informative article! I love the website that OP has created though. Does anybody know what stack/platform is it based upon?

Mike Schatz is awesome, and is genuinely one of the most amazing people. I've met him on a couple of occasions and it was always amazing that he takes time off to listen to whatever ideas you've got and tries to debate them regard

I'm planning to build my workstation and I'm settled on 5950x, but the fact that I need to get a gfx card separately is irritating, given that I'm in India and it adds a ton of money that I could be spending elsewhere!

What about phones running on Kirin or exynos SoCs? shouldn't be that difficult to support your own fabbed SoC, but yet they sorely lack updates.

I love their USB-C cable. I've gotten their 6ft cable and it's amazing. No damage since I bought it in the past year. It also seems that Benson has labelled it adequate for phones.
