Isn't the minimum realistic prefix size you can request /64 so that devices can still do EUI-64?

Yeah, I don't understand how it passed DMARC and why it wasn't rejected immediately by his mail server (Apple Mail?).

What's the payment threshold? I assume you're paying 2.9% and $0.30 (or around there) for the transaction. You charge that to the customer but what if their bill is $0.01, are you really going to make them pay $0.32 for $0.01 of u

They MITM the real sign-in on NPM. So NPM actually sent them a 2FA but the user entered it on the phishing site. The attacker then relayed that to the real NPM.

Just 64 characters but they do integrate with a password manager and have a 1-click button to add it. The integration was pretty seamless and saved it in 1Password.

If you're in a group and someone is backing up the messages, it only affects your messages in that group. All of your other chats are still secure as long as you're not using the backup frature. You (and Signal) can't control

Sure but the key is still in a separate location from the backup. Signal can't decrypt the backup and if Signal is hacked someone would still need to get your screenshot to decrypt the backup. Not perfect but far better than an unencry

I have 1Password installed and it prompted to save in 1Password. Worked perfectly. It even let me paste from 1Password on the verification screen. It was the most seamless password manager experience I've ever had.

With a big company like Google I'm sure lawyers are the ones preventing an open API and not the developers. The API is a liability for Google. It could infringe on patents or it could have a bug.

Why does the Harbor VM need 32 cores and 64GB of RAM? Especially if it's only serving 32,000 pulls over 2 months.

My employer uses greptile and I'm pretty happy with it. Sometimes it can be a bit overzealous but more often than not it catches real issues and gives the author a chance to reply or fix them before another human reviews the PR.

Yes, we implemented a separate service internally that interfaces with an LLM and so the callers can be agnostic as to what provider or model is being used. Haven't needed to load balance between models though.

Luckily GCP load balancers and Pub/Sub we're generally unaffected, at least for us, which are the 2 products we depend on the most. Messages piled up in Pub/Sub while other GCP products were down but that was it. We did uncov

It's not clear what the actual issue was. My best guess is that Workers KV was in transition to B2 from a combination of GCS and "a storage provider" before. A step in transitioning to B2 involved removing the "a storage

We've been storing values on errors using https://github.com/levenlabs/errctx for close to a decade now. We have a separate logging library that stores a KV map but technically you can store anything on errors. I

We have a relatively modest commit with GCP, around $1M a year, and have a dedicated account rep who I can contact whenever I need to. In fact, we've had a similar relationship even when we were half the size.

To help avoid the hot shard problem, I wonder how capping followers per "timeline" would perform. Especially each user would have a separate timeline per 1000 followers and the client would merge them. You could still do the lossy
