I would like a board with a 2-core Cortex-A73 SoC with a simple GPU, 2GB of RAM, ethernet, and PCI-E for NVME. For 20$.

Why not? Doing that with historical figures is pretty much what happened in the Superman movie when having his parents as teachers. It can be done with respect and honorably, in my opinion.

Why there's not generalized discard/trim capabilities on USB/SD devices? It should be "easy" to agree some standard on that.

Good point, I would like Google using QNX for their mobile OS, too, because of the Hard Real-Time OS feature. Or keep using Linux, but putting more effort on it, e.g. adding better NDK support, without relying in Java at all, a la iOS.

This is an important step for having better RAM overcommitment in Linux (avoiding OOM and having less latency spikes). I hope more effort is put in this line. /cc Google, Amazon, Red Hat, SUSE, Canonical

Try adding following optimizations to your binary radix tree code: 1) Path compression: avoid having intermediate empty nodes, when possible. E.g. replace root-left(void)-left(void)-left(void)-left(item) with root-[000]left(item). Because o
