Knitting is really big still. One of the biggest lobbies for copyright and IP legislation is (no kidding) the industry that creates patterns for sewing and knitting. Put out feelers on social media, see how many of your associates knit whic

This is totally correct, but I think it's also correct to say there is a huge vendor lock-in component to serverless. People make the claim that you can engineer your application to be vendor agnostic, but even if that's the case,

I really liked Vimium, but I ran into a problem where it just annihilated CPU and I had to uninstall it. It's probably been a few version changes since then, so I might give it a try again.

This is why I have a real hard time buying anything other than a Thinkpad, because of the trackpoint. If I have to move my wrists from where they're planted on the keyboard, it feels about as annoying as having to get up off the couch

It's right there in my last post. Ivy League universities are not a public resource. Also, a tragedy of the commons is a tragedy of the commons, and you are being really disingenuous trying to compare control on the inputs of an Ivy

Huh, it's an interesting idea, that Ivy League is a public resource. I don't agree with that, because they're private institutions. I can see where you're coming from, though, and I'd say that's a super-populis

That's the trap, and Seneca wrote some compelling stuff about recognizing the trap and avoiding it. It is aptly titled "On the Shortness of Life"...

I think the importance of this cannot be understated. The Secretary of State is a nexus of not only extremely sensitive information, but of extremely sensitive information in motion which is also in overseas locations more often than not.
