I love making stuff like this accessible for many people. Giving it a quick read and while I do find it more readable I think you can still lose people when you define terms. More fun analogies and simple silly (non technical looking) pictu

Well there's countless books before AI, before the internet, before the computer to read. Blogs are a bit tricky but I just have to trust that the blogs I follow are writers that love writing and don't care about making mass appea

I've kinda given up on the internet at this point. It's sad but comforting. My social networks are just my friends and I've started to get back into reading books and long form blogs. Don't want to be exposed to this end

Hard to get excited when Claude is significantly better at coding than ChatGPT. The Canvas feature is great and I hope Claude does something similar. But the improvement of LLMs changes so fast so who knows if Claude will be worth using in

I uploaded my detailed game design document for a project I've been working on in my free time and it was kind of a weird confidence boost. The two hosts seem to treat ideas like their the most insightful relevatory information they&#x

Definitely not everything, but it's still wild to me that so many products and services have all their troubleshooting and customer support in a discord server.

I'm already starting to embrace it. Content overload through subscription platforms makes it hard for me to choose. My phone being an everything machine always distracts me l. I'm also tired of algorithmic recommendations. I bough

That's really great that you enjoy the learning process. I feel like curiosity is such a key to being a creative developer. I do fear LLMs will add more of a black box to projects for better and worse. Nice reminder to always ask "

Been a while since I've looked at the code but from what I recall, each number in the geolocation is iterated through and assigned a note. This note is generated using the Web Audio Api. It's quite simple and there's so many

LLMs have really provided me with a lot of confidence to explore making more fun random projects. I personally didn't like the long research process and tool setup just to begin to do something basic. Now a lot of friction is gone and

I'd argue that most dev jobs contribute nothing to society. The ones that do unfortunately don't pay well. I went into teaching for now and while it pays less, it's also tremendously fulfilling and the most human I've fe

I think it works well enough. I'm glad Google didn't try to perfect the product before releasing. It still feels like magic to me and helps me get the gist of most translations when I take a photo.

Have you considered getting into art? I find art projects to be big motivator and fills me with ambition. The great thing is I do it for myself so I can feel content knowing I don't need to fulfill the needs of an audience. You can be

Is there a way to do the random note button but for a random tag? I keep ideas in one note but tag each idea either gamedev, writing, zine, or webdev. Would be nice to bring up random ideas for a potential spark of motivation.

I notice the smell a bit. Not sure if anyone else notices my body odor changing. It's pretty common to eat it here in Japan. Do you mean the odor clinging to clothes or some physiological smell change?

I eat natto (fermented soy beans) every day. It's probably the cheapest and most healthy food you can buy in Japan. I used to hate the smell and texture, but force myself enough times made me gradually enjoy it.

By the way you may want to consider Godot as a starting engine. Not only because it's open source (so no shady business practices), but it also is focused on being specifically a game engine. Unity tries to be an everything engine and
