Just started my 2 week trial of GraphJSON a few days ago! I like it so far, kudos. Unrelated question: do you have some kind of notification setup for HN? I feel like I’ve seen you comment on many logging-related posts, so figured I’d ask =

Wondered if this is happening/to what scale in the U.S. as well, found this (answer seems like a “yes but not as much” but obviously it varies by location): https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/interactive/

Hi Simeon, I appreciate your engagement on this. I suppose I am being dramatic in wording it as a "separate codebase", and yes, one can generate two separate manifest.json files. My end-result has been to have separate code for Ch

Interesting! I’ve got something like that (doesn’t work properly for Chrome yet) going; if it is open source on git somewhere, I’d love to see it. If not, no worries!

Yeah that’s the polyfill extension I use! Thanks for the validation, I am finding that I have to make manual changes anyway as well. Thanks for sharing the DefinePlugin, it looks like it could be quite useful

Ah okay thanks for sharing the Mozilla update. And I suppose I am less optimistic than you, since they have so much browser market share I’d guess they’re happy to let devs figure out how to make our stuff work if we want access to their us

If book suggestions are helpful, I found “Designing Your Life” by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans to provide a helpful framework on how to think/act/prototype your way to what works for ya. Not sure if it’s everyone’s cup of tea but I

Thanks for writing this. I’ve been feeling mournful about “giving up” and returning to a “normal” software engineering job, but the things in quotes here are a matter of perspective. Ain’t nothing wrong with doing good work and using the fr

This is a really cool thing to work on in your free time! Thanks for sharing. Also, +1 to plausible for simple website analytics.

Thrilled to hear it! As someone who has primarily written back-end code, I found Svelte to be the most accessible (readable, good/simple docs with lots of examples, easy getting started instructions, clear conceptual framework). Eager

Solid read! An additional resource for OKRs is a book called “Radical Focus” by Christina Wodtke. Here is a link to it on goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28951428-radical-focus
