I cannot do this. Just because you can do so easily does not mean everyone can. I am apparently unable to segment my muscle memory like you seem to be able to (I'm actually jealous you can do that!).

I probably regularly use 4-5 different machines regularly (2 at home, my work laptop, work laptop plugged into it's dock at work, embedded system flashing machine). I also help coworkers when handing off a assembled embedded machine, w

Have you considered that the author did try to understand the underlying ideology? It seems pretty accurate to me.

100% this. I shop almost exclusively on digikey at work when I can because their search is *so much* better then everyone else's. It's certainly not great , but it's definitely the best of any electronics component vendor by

There's a reason a lot of people refer to buying cryptocurrency as funding the North Korea nuclear weapons research program.

It can lead to "fun" optimizations. I spent a while porting a codebase that was written by someone far more clever then smart. They had discovered that you could clear a string under MSVC by `memset()`ing over it. Obviously, this

You seem to be assuming that cloudflare's CDN is located in the country doing the blocking. I'd imagine that CF's first act would be to remove any of the "offending" content from the country, at which point BGP bloc

That wouldn't do anything, since CF's CDN connects to the backends directly. As such, any CF server not within the nation in question would effectively be a circumvention tool.

Not quite. Meta-magic can include code-gen, but monkey-patching can include effectively doing ast-ast transforms to change the behaviour of existing code without having to actually edit the code.

Evolution is completely uncontroversial. Teaching about evolution is controversial because it pokes holes in certain commonly held beliefs. That doesn't make any of the actual underlying facts controversial.

Look at their citations. This is just right wing whitewashing with a veneer of "it's unbiased" (because it doesn't say bad things about us now).

I strongly disagree with the basic thesis of this article. HDMI is better then displayport. DVI is better then HDMI. USB-C is a complete disaster (particularly when trying to tunnel displayport). I have an ongoing hypothesis that the gener

I don't think anyone is using JLCPCB for the quality. People use it because it's very cheap, good enough , and they have other services (assembly, association with LCSC that make it even more compelling). In the US, OSHPark'
